Sangwoo. You ARE your father's son.

Eddie July 19, 2017 12:03 am

Sangwoo, you are NOT different, you insane piece of shit. You are EXACTLY like your father and no one genuinely loves you, if it isn't bout your looks and deceitful charms. What now? You're gonna drown me or force yourself on me even after I reluctantly tell you the most vulnerable and traumatizing experience of my life, let you call me a "filthy rag" and "disgusting" for something that was out of my hands and I did not wish to happen, and attempt suicide? Ha, you deserve "Worst Asshole of the Entire Fucking Century." I stopped pitying you and waiting for you to "change" several chapters ago. Please disappear soon. Yoonbum, you do NOT love him, he is NOT your savior, so, please, stop belittling yourself to this guy and hurry up and find a way to fucking leave even if Seungbae has to drag you out with handcuffs on. You are NOTHING like how your screwy uncle used you as. You need genuine and professional help and a smothering amount of real love. Koogi, I love, respect, and appreciate this manwha and you.

It's sad really. Sangwoo really lovesand cares for Yoonbum to the best of his abilites. It is just that he is too mentally scarred to give yoonbum the affection he needs. Yoonbum on the other hand saw no other way out. As Sangwoo said, theyre a complete mess.

it really goes to show they're both products of the environments they grew up in.

No, there's no love here. Sangwoo cared for Bum like you would with your pet but with no love.
He even manipulated and mock him when Bum tell him about his most vulnerable past. Bum tell him because Sangwoo forced him to. This is sad people only see the yaoi of it even after read the whole story.

But it was his parent fault (/TДT)/ if only he grew up on loving and caring environment (bum too) he won't become the person as it's now ╥﹏╥ let spread love around the world

Even serial killers can grow up from in a loving and caring environment. Although, yes, that does have an impact on every child's life, something mentally can be "abnormal" with a person to make grow up wanting to experience things most would see as morally wrong. For example, Jeffrey Dahmer, his parents werent the best but they never abused him nor were there any violence in his home, they were kinda average, I believe, but look how he turned out. I'm not saying this is the case for most people that have a mental incability but it does contradict with the theories out there when it comes to Abnormal Psychology and relative fields. Who knows, maybe Sangwoo would've been a better person if his parents were better as well... Then again, it still should justify his reasoning for taking someone else's life and for constantly abusing Bum. When you become an adult, you're responsible for yourself, you're responsible even with the excuse that your parents are the reason why you're the way you are. I know this from personal experience. I am 17 now but I know that once I turn 18, I have to try and be better than how my parents, which are the worst, wanted me to be. I'm gonna be who I want to be for me. (Thanks for wanting to spread love, this world definitely needs more of it. )

Its true that they both are messed up and I personally think neither should be around society because both are harmful, more so Sangwoo since Yoonbum can't defend/retaliate if he's not pressured to the max about it. With that in mind, you're free to believe that this is about Sangwoo's incapability to show affection or love to Yoonbum due to his parents shitty parenting but I implore you to please analyze the story more and think a bit differently bout Sangwoo's actions. Ever since chapter one he has been nothing but deceitful and abusive. I see their relationship as nothing but abusive. Any scenes between them that was sexual or viewed as "romantic" was anything but healthy. Believe me, I wished and hoped like the rest of you that maybe he'll treasure Bum and treat him with the love he deserves but Koogi has intentionally made everything thats happened between them make that fujoshi/fundanshi dream go to shame. Its sucks really because ideally they look good together expect they realistically aren't. And I love it. No offense to other yaoi stories but its too predictable that they will most likely get together after confessing and having sex all in a very short amount of time, haha. Here, its not the issue. There's more to this they wanting to see the ideal seme and ideal uke get together. The fact that Yoonbum has been continuously mutilated, drowned, punched and slapped around, etc, etc, does not show a lack of Sangwoo not knowing how to love. He clearly knows how to fake it to get what he want and Bum, being to extremely vulnerable and easily manipulated person that he has been since little, he's able to take the bait over and over again even if it'll result in his obvious death because he wants to feel needed and useful. Just like Sangwoo, he wants to be worshipped, to not seen like his father despite the fact that he acts 100% like him, and wants someone to stay with him even throughout his merciless killing sprees.

First, I like your profile name, haha. Two, yes, I agree that people would rather see and overshadow things with the fact that this is yaoi and Sangwoo and Bum ideally look pleasant together. I can't bash them for it either, knowing that I started to read this book with the intention of seeing some drama, smut, and a happy ending, heh. So far, I'm often being put over the edge and given headaches and heartaches after I yell passionately at my phone with every chapter I read. The struggle is real, is it not? Nevertheless, I started to read other people's opinions, those who are awesome with analyzing and seeing the story in a more passionate light then most who wanted see love making and a happy ending. They made me go back and reread and start to criticize both characters reasons and after I started to do they, I became irritated with my findings and began disliking Sangwoo while admiring how he looks sexy in a turtle neck sweatshirt or ripped jeans or anything really, and pitying Bum while fangirling over how cute and innocent he looks and how ridiculous his growth spurt is because he looks 12 when he's really in his 30s compared to Sangwoo and that made me envious but also wanting to scoop him up and smother him with my affection. The entire thing is a contradictory but I still try to find rationality among all the fantasies. Its a tough try, I'll tell you that. But yeah, thanks for your comment.

No it's okay. It means the Author is really great at playing with people's emotions. It makes us pitying Sangwoo's and Bum's past but also make us realised that they're not innocent at all. Somehow they got everything they deserved. It's two sides of the coin. You can't see the whole pictures by seeing only one side.
People should appreciate the Author for it. She played our emotions right. And if it ended not the way we expected, i wish people wouldn't judge her for it.
Thank you for your feedback. Cheers.
