I think it's important to find friends that you like. I'm an introvert and prefer spending time alone to recharge my batteries, but it's important to socialize for your mental health. Friends are good to share ideas and discuss similar interests with. Theyll also be there for you at your lowest. And you don't want to look back on your life and see it being empty. I think that's one regret I had during my middle- high school years - isolating myself. A lot of people in the world are shitty but there are some good ones out there too. You wont find them by deciding you "hate everyone"
