I love how the author didn't romanticize or sexualize that scene, she handled it like a completely serious & traumatic experience, which was pretty realistic.

I'm of the same opinion except that I think his trauma was resolved way too easily because it was a one shot so there wasn't enough pages

LMAO You wanted the depressing part to last longer? You want the character to suffer longer and deeper. What kind of ghoul are you? Did you forget that these works are for a pleasurable experience? This isn't real life, and it isn't designed to teach lessons or set a good example for the public. You need to go find yourself some really gruesome crime/rape garbage for that. I don't want to have a terrible depressing experience just because you have morality issues and hangups about rape.

I think it was just an honest review about trauma. We all know that it is not easy to overcome and I think he/she thought that it was too quick. Victims suffers longer so I think we should take note of that

that's fine, but, look, do you have any idea how much of this stuff with fans insisting that the "wages of sin" be shown? I can't believe how much the fans have changed in the past 3 years. They act like they want to see more of the real life results of rape, but I think that if they had it, they'd hate it, and then they'd be complaining to the point of absurdity about that the same way they have gone insane complaining about how they want to see the effects of real life rape. I read yaoi for pleasure, which they should be reading for pleasure, too, because the idea is to delight, entertain, and bring pleasure to the reader, not to show how bad rape is, and not to teach any lessons about rape to their readership. That's not what artists do, and the fans have no right at all to lean on artists to change their art. That's the horrifying reality of what artists are now dealing with from ungrateful, demanding, spoiled brat fans. It amazes me how nice the fans used to be compared to the fans now, who must be the younger age group who are now starting to read yaoi.
