Yeah but when you think about it, both Bum and Sangwoo are sorta the same. Sangwoo uses his trauma and becomes stronger but Bum becomes weaker. Moreover when we're this far of the story and all the chapters' analysis, it's actually safe to assume that it's a spark of hope
I'm not sure if it's just Sangwoo's trauma but the fact that he panicked when Bum was unconscious, may be a spark of caring? (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
And btw that page when Bum came to the surface when Sangwoo tried drowning him, his face made him the #1 most cute and fluffy uke, I have no regrets
