yea, I think it was his father cause Sangwoo said he doesn't want to be like him so he stopped drowning Bum
It was too much for a child to witness such violence, I pray for Sangwoo not to be like his father no matter what.
But this still doesn't explain why he killed people
Sad to say... SOME children who believes they wont be like their mother or father...often ended up being like them unconsciously. :/
If its in the blood. Theres a high risk for them to have it.. traits like insanity..aggression.
I guess that his mother kept telling him that he's just like his father when he was a kid and he actually became like that after her death by killing women who looked like her. When she died, Sangwoo must've been already mentally broken to the point of taking revenge on his father, and that began the whole killing thing.

Btw the one who's drowning his mother in his flashback was his dad, right? Not him? I was freaked out a little knowing that he might be the one to kill his mother. Because he seems to love her so much like a little child...
