Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything of the sort.. but what you can do is to start talking to others about manga or w/e is to start a thread on manga that've updated recently, or comment on someone else's. Or just reply to other threads on the main page and stuff. (If you put a manga in your reading/already read list, you'll get a notification when it updates) I dunno tbh. I hope you find what you're looking for, though.

on this page too you could say like, "looking for people to talk to about [insert your interests]", since we can personally message people (the letter icon). It's more convenient to friend someone, send a message, and start the convo from there, I would think.
