Same with The Devil's Bride. I swear, every time I find a demon-human romance with a love polygon, the series gets axed before completion.

I couldn't agree with you more. It's an excellent story and a shame that it was discontinued. I am at a loss to understand why people care about things that "offend" them. There are dozens of things that offend me, yet I waste no energy or time bothering with them. It is also not my concern if what offends me pleases another. What right would I have to take away another person's pleasure simply because it is not mine? I can easily avoid those things that offend me, why can't others do the same? Meddlesome harpies who truly uphold the saying, "Misery loves company."
Right! Not sure if they know that they can't impose their ideals to others. So annoying, people like that. (︶︿︶)＝凸
Unfortunately, by having things discontinued, they are doing just that. It's nothing new either. Meddlesome harpies have had their way for centuries under the guises of "religion", "protecting children" and "morality". In reality, neither religion nor morals were involved and they cared very little for any children. They just wanted their own way by hook or by crook. Look at homosexuality for instance. Many of the antiquated laws that prohibit or criminalize homosexuality thrive under the idea that homosexuals target children, are heathens/heretics and/or are people lacking morals. Two problems with those theories: 1. Those traits apply to as just many, or more, heteros and 2. Those traits don't apply to the majority of homosexuals any more than they apply to the majority of heteros. Yet, the laws remain in some places because harpies gain power and control through fear and humans, in large groups are stupid and prone to panic. One hint that something scary MIGHT happen, however remote, and we rush to ban or eradicate any possible cause to eliminate the perceived threat. Governments and religions have used this tactic since civilization began to strip away rights and gain control over the masses. Discontinuing a manga is one small step away from book burning in my opinion.
It's my second time reading this manga and it slipped through my mind that it was left unfinished and I was so frustrated finding out that this was discontinued, but I guess.. Just a guess... The "maybe" one of the reason why this was left unfinished is because of the sensitive topic about religion. It is sensitive whether we like it or not and someone might have been offended... Or not lol. As I said, that's what is going through my mind.
Well... Such a waste when this is a very good story. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
