I know this comment may harbor some people's hatred but still..

What I want to say is I do actually understand the position of the company.. what they need is IDOL who will shine, so they can earn money.. why will you invest in someone talented without good looks, if there is someone good-looking which seems talented,too.??. they are not running CHARITY but a COMPANY.. this is REALITY.. People look at the faces first..esp. for entertainers.. that's their bread and butter..

if you are going to choose between watching two channels.. showing two entertainers, one is really handsome, the other is not.. both of them singing and dancing.. will you REALLY, HONESTLY CHOOSE the one which is not telegenic??

yes, I know, I know. It's not good to judge people by their looks.. but that is the IDEAL.. In REALITY, how many good looking and talented entertainers faded back into the scene? How many dedicated ones with REAL talent ended up not even having a single chance for exposure?? MUCH LESS SOMEONE LIKE Duk Hwa.

Lets face it. IDEALISM is just that... IDEAL.. it's all good and feel good. but in the the end, it is still IDEAL..

Only when you face REALITY, with the sense of maturity, can you surely put food on the table.

Of course, this is manga, lol. Maybe the company will again concede with the MC's wish to retain Duk Hwa because they are being threatened to lose the MC on board. But is that really such a good thing? It is a good deed that made the MC felt that he "helped" but in reality, Duk Hwa is an unwanted factor.

When Duk Hwa realizes his dream chance is only given by the MC like some promo, buy-one-take-one-free, he will be more pitiful..

if it were me, I will feel insulted.. because he already lived always being discriminated against, and yet, he still live strongly and positively, chasing his dream. Suddenly, he finally got a chance to step forward. But it was actually an illusion courtesy of his "good" friend. So miserable,ai..

Wrong. You don't seem to understand what this manwha is about if you seriously believe everything you just said. Sadly. This whole manwha is ABOUT being recognized for your talents rather than your outward appearance. Even IN that reality you speak so much about people are being judged more and more purely based on talent. And WHY is this happening? Because AGENCIES are finally getting rid of the status quo. They ARE the ones with the power, after all. And you don't make them change by ignoring the unfairness built into the system. If that WAS the case women would have never been burned at the stake for being thought of as 'witches'. That's why Hyung Suk is EXACTLY the kind of person these organizations need. Precisely BECAUSE of his second body's good looks. The ones who are less privileged shouldn't HAVE to do all the leg work all the time as you *are* suggesting they should, after all. Blaming the ones who are allies rather than an industry that is PRONE to changing slowly is like blaming witches' allies rather than the people who burned them at the stake. And that kind of thing NEVER affected change.

But fortunately, unlike you, even when Duk Hwa learned the truth, he seems to have understanding that already.

I dont know why youre talking about witches or burning them at the stake..

i just said what i know. what i observed.. have you been watching movies? have you been watching tv?? do you read how lead roles are decided?? how about the supporting roles?? the extras?? do you know how one star get more screen time than the other?? how they are decided? i am only commenting on what i saw in REAL LIFE.. what i read on articles published in magazines, newspapers and the production team interviews done behind the scenes.. i based my comment on what is ACTUALLY HAPPENING.. then said my thoughts about this manhwa..

AND "But fortunately, unlike you, even when Duk Hwa learned the truth, he seems to have understanding that already." (coughs*coughs)

Ofc, there will be DIFFERENCE.. when i said if it were me, i'll feel miserable.. it is also based on what someone will generally feel..I AM AN ACTUAL LIVING PERSON AFTER ALL...not a manga character fulfilling a role..

OFC, the author will write what his own views of WHAT MUST BE, bec. this is manga.. I KNEW FOR A FACT THAT DUK HWA CHARACTER IS POSITIVELY VIEWING HIS OWN LIFE.. i've been supporting this author ever since ch.1, even follow him on social network to show my support..i can say, i understand his style a little bit more than before.. that's why even when i expressed my opinion, i do not expect it to actually manifest.. It actually made me think before who is the basis for him since some of the characters here are based in real life,, If he exist, I salute!

NOT EVERYONE CAN SEE THE CHALLENGES AS THEY ARE AND ACCEPT THEM AS IT IS.. IT IS NORMAL to feel pain, jealousy, hatred, and anguish.. because we are living a life that can't be set on easy mode..

Again, i don't understand where the witches come in with my expressed opinion on harsh reality vs. ideal that the author wanted to portray.. but thanks anyway.. you made me reminisce the times when our teacher asked us to write a book summary of "The Scottish Witch-Hunt in Context" by Julian Goodare.. ah.. such tough times..
