Hmm. You might actually be right about that too. This may be why people say other people should not use their power in front of John. Or why he didn't want the bear guy to touch him. Or why he was bullied all the time before Claire found him. Or why Claire never seemed to use her powers during their confrontation. But then it makes me wonder why he said at the very beginning he was born without one?

If that's the case then I think he said he was born without one because he doesn't have an actual power that he owns because his power is based off others
