Possibly. They are always very detailed and unique, I imagine it's too much work to think of such a design and using a brush is not the best thing either (plus, most artists would avoid using brushes for this kinda thing anyway).
I appreciate the fact that yakuza dude has actual yakuza tattoos.
I guess most mangakas dont draw yakuza tattoos because its too much of a hassle?
