I dont blame you... But Feilong said in the novel that probably Asami didn't choose him because Asami always wanted someone far away from his world and Feilong is the head of the Baishe. Even Asami said he has his own personal tastes. Dont misunderstand me I love those three characters and everyone can have their but it's kinda sad to see many fans hating Asami for not being with Fei :(

to undestand why asami didn't choose fei sama , simple thing to do compare fei with aki , coz akihito is what asami needs what asami wants ... ! imagine it like two pieces of puzzle , humain search what he lacks ! for asami he have every thing but staying in a dark for too long he wants a light, it means akihito in japanese.

According to summary of the novel that came out earlier this year, Asami did not want the love of anybody until Akihito, who is the only light in his dark world. Some people fall in love every 5 minutes, it took Asami 35 years to find his love. Although Fei Long is beautiful, powerful and strong, he is still from the dark world. That's just my opinion.

Wow, even a couple of aggressive replies? (my favorite, btw). It's worse than insulting the Pope, uh.
Just to set the record straight, I don't dislike Asami for not being with Fei, I just dislike him. I absolutely adore Yamane Ayano's drawing style, but I don't like Asami at all and never did, and almost certainly I would have stopped reading it after a few chapter if not for Feilong.
I think it would have made no difference for the world, so chill out :) people are entitled to have ideas as they read. The story, any kind of story, belongs to the author and no one else. It's not important if a single reader does not worship Asami who is, btw, a complete asshole, in case you didn't notice… I can't believe there are people "in love" with that kind of character. A character does not need to be "good" to be a great one. He's a great character but not necessarily meant for being loved.
Thanks to those of you who explained the reason why they didn't end up together, which are, again, predictable to me. Since the reason why I love it is the way it is drawn I think I would'n invest time on a novel, but it's nice if others with different attitude will read it.
