I won't talk as an AxA fan but in my " personal point of view " if asami and fei were the main couple we will only get a regular typical couple and the story won't be as interesting as it is now cuz simply asami and fei personalities are kinda similaire and they share many things i mean they have many common points and that's won't make it great as it is now i mean even in the look they have almost the same face plus asami has strong men who share with him many goals to achieve and in the other side aki is totally different from asami almost in everything in that difference between them is what make their relation interedting also i like where fei is now the relation between him is just like the relation between naruto and sasuke / goku and vegeta / yugi and kaiba it's what make the story full of action <3<3<3

Hmm. In fact Fei is really a strong guy. I can accept that he may not be Asami's type. But to say he's not strong will be rather not appropriate, IMO. He's been through a lot of shit all his life, being wanted by his own brother, not receiving his father's love despite him trying so hard & his brother claiming credits for all his hardwork, and then the last straw came: Asami! Giving him hope and then left him when he had nothing, exactly no one else by his side. He still come back strong and revived Baishe all by himself, well of course by Yoh's help too. I have to agree that they have similar personality, they are cold and maybe having been in their world they find it difficult to trust anyone.
