The nurse chose an omega lover and bit her becoming her partner based entirely on emotional love until her fated partner showed up at which point she abandoned her previous lover. As omegas cannot choose a new partner after, her lover was left alone to suffer her heats for the rest of her days as the touch of a partner other than the alpha that bit them can make the omega violently ill during such times.
The nurse is basically warning him that if his true fated partner does show up instinct will force him to abandon yuka which kaoru swears to himself he won't do/ won't happen.

I guess that was the story was about: "What is better? be gang raped but be free to be whoever want during heats and with the possibility of finding the fated pair or be paired but with the possibility of your man leaving you someday (and losing the possibility of finding your fated pair as well?)"
