I see it as more he loved him dearly because he was his brother.... I mean I grew up with an older brother who I adored who ended up molesting me when he got older. Never pressed charges but he is nowninproson for other stuff... he's still my brother and the feelings of him being my brother that took care of me when I was younger are still there. That won't change
