first of all, it's not rly the end yet. secondly, the story might not be promoting anything! the mangaka might just want to write a story like this to express his/herself.

Read the raws. When he chose that dude there despite what he did, I'm pretty sure there is something unspoken there. Well, obviously this mangaka is portraying an unhealthy relationship without solid background stories to make us empathize the criminal. It's not wrong to portray this, but I really can't take this seriously. Poorly written. If you want to defend him or this kind of relationship, be my guest.
don't take this seriously by all means, it is a fictional story right..? its not about me trying to "defend this kind of relationship" it's just about respecting their decisions to portray this. if u can manage that then I stand corrected. but yea if u want to bash on their story be my guest.
