I think Rino is more emotional than instructor-guy (too lazy to write his name -_-). He is more honest, at least in case of talking about his feelings or the lack of them. But at the same time I don't see instructor-guy as a completely bad person. I think he mostly is just indifferent. He just goes with the flow without any particular goals or passions.
