for me, i got acquainted with challengers first since i'm a decrepit obasan (lol). but i got turned off from it's cover and did not get past chapter 2. But when i got acquainted with the first volume of koisuru boukun, it made me backtrack and i was able to appreciate challenger's own charm. i definitely appreciate mangakas like her who love her characters as much as us readers do, not just doing manga as a job and other reasons.

Did you know, that the mangaka works on the characters for over 20 years now ?! First, she started with the series "Challengers" (about senpai's brother Tomoe). It was her first manga, released in 1995 (wow!). Tatsumi and Morinaga appear in it quite often. You can also see how much art style changed over the years. I'm not surprised she's attached to those characters. Also, that was my very first yaoi manga and ova, and that's how it all started my yaoi obsession, lasting for 8 years already. I'm so sentimental with this manga. Maybe it's not the best of the best, but it will stay in my heart forever and every, even small update is a blessing. The fuck i just wrote all that at 1 am when i have work tomorrow, and should sleep but can not. Bye. (●'◡'●)ﾉ
