I agree, I know the author trying to make a fun story but you just can't help but dislike the people you dislike (if you get what I mean)
I sound a lil extra bitter but it is because I have been in that kind of relationship where the other person us pushing all of your buttons. I could't like the main character no matter what. If he has a change of heart in future it is going to turn into a nice story but I doubt it.
