I used to read shoujo like kyyaaaaa (≧∀≦) waaaaaaa ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ then maturity took over now i do read shoujo but sometimes the mc makes me want to bang her head on the table. Most of them. Are so naive like they couldn't do anything with themselves except for crying and being dependent on other. But i still love to see those where mc is not a doormat but a strong independent girl. Its okay you are not some badass chick or gangster but atleast dont be indecisive and dependent. I really hate that in lots of shoujo.
In California! That's where! I read these really freaking great shoujo manga, okay? Ore-Sama Teacher, The Wallflower, Fruits Basket, and Ouran High School Host Club, which were all AMAZING and I totally recommend them.
And just recently I read Akatsuki no Yona/Yona of the Dawn and I really like it!

I really love Lovely Complex, it's the only shoujo manga that I can confidently say I thoroughly enjoyed but I read that waaaay back before I became tainted..err I mean..before I became a fujoshi. Ever since discovering yaoi, I've not read a single shoujo manga. It just doesn't satisfy me at all.
I think the last shoujo manga that I read was Skip Beat but I've kind of given up on it for now. I'll just wait until it's completed.
