You're not alone. I've read a few manga that have this theme in them and they always make me uncomfortable and sometimes even a little mad. I really hate it when a male character will act cowardly or selfish and then complain, "I'm acting like such a girl!" That really p*sses me off. I don't know many women who are such cowards... selfish, yeah, but not cowardly. LOL
There was this chapter where Hato was mad that he was being treated like a woman. I was a bit offended. Not all women are useless and helpless you know, just like not all men are capable and responsible. But I guess it might have been a cultural thing. Maybe men in Japan don't tell their wives what they're doing and they just spring it on them? I don't know. I just felt a bit offended but I love the story though!
