Forgive but never forget. Before doing that, do you know his drunk habit? You gave too little input, so I cannot really advise you. Did he tell the truth? How do you know it wasn't an excuse? If he has a bad drunk habit, why is he drinking with someone that could lead him to having drunk sex? Seems like he doesn't think the consequences and expect you to forgive. So tell me, how did he explain to you.
