Paradise View had the most depressing ending ;-;
I've seen it but never actually read it o.O
TBH I don't know if I would call NY,NY totally pure and heartwarming cause you know the murders, and multiple rapes and the fact he cheats on poor Mel but will say the final chapters from Boston on totally pure and heart warming, yeah the rest of the story had its moments but not as entirely.
Have to agree with Paradise View though.....that ones cleans the soul and has the fluffy feel of this one every time I read it.

I read it and only afterwards found out there was a prequel but the ending still made me cry （/TДT)/
Paradise View has a sad ending, but for the most part it was a pretty pure heartwarming story. Same goes for its prequel. But yeah the ending. I was actually so excited when it was updated I stupidly read it on a day I was substituting High School, while I had a class in the room. Always fun trying to explain why you suddenly start crying while they are doing an assignment. And over a BL for that matter LOL. I do love the both the sequel and prequel and read it quite often, but always cry at the end and scream why couldn't you let them have more happy times.
It is very similar in that respect, I've been so unlucky reading these manga where they defeat the odds get together and then one dies too soon this past week. I had actually just fished NYNY the night, well day before this one....yes I read the entire thing, starting at like 10 at night and every time I said I'll to sleep after this chapter I couldn't, finished about 4 am that morning. Had 3 hrs sleep but was so worth it.
Honestly I've never read a manga as pure and heartwarming as this, I cried so much
