It's actually a good build-up for her character.
I usually don't like reincarnation into baby story but this was recommended by a friend and I'm so invested. She's not stupid. She doesn't come off as prodigy. She knows exactly how much intelligence she needs to show and how to use her power and surroundings. The story is not too cliché and sugarcoated either. Loving it so far.
