He runs to find the prince killing people in the forest and faints after crying tragically upon realizing how hard the prince's life was. He kinda stops breathing for a while and more stuff happens but it's not until meae the end of the season (a good 10 more chapters-ish later when he realizes that the prince knows who he is)
