I'm asian (south east) and marrying ur own blood is looked down upon here but I'm not Korean so not sure what's happening over there lol, I doubt the author would make them official tho it's probably a comedic gig

It's so funny it reminds me of a time when my older cousin accidentally kissed a far distant cousin at a random highschool party , he didn't find out till way later
