Wow. Words honestly can't do justice to how amazing this story is. The characters, the art, the narrative, everything feels so rich and thoughtfully crafted. It’s such a breath of fresh air to finally read something that doesn’t rely on the usual tropes of modern BL stories (you know, the 80% explicit scenes, 20% plot formula). This story manages to capture your attention without needing to lean on excessive fanservice, and that’s something rare these days.

One of the things I appreciate the most is Julian’s character. He’s incredibly well-written, and I found myself deeply invested in his development. I was honestly hoping the author would give us a few extra chapters just to explore more of his relationship with Levin. I would’ve loved to see more of their growth.

Then there’s Sasya. This character has been through so much since his youth, and it’s heartbreaking to see him struggle with his past and his sense of self-worth. But I’m so glad the author gave him a chance to find peace and unconditional love by the end. Sasya truly deserves it all, and I was rooting for him every step of the way.

As for Karel, I have to admit, I didn’t completely connect with his character. I mean, let’s be real—who in their right mind would go to such extremes for love? (╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭) Still, I have to give credit to the author for not making him the stereotypical, overly perfect and somewhat pathetic seme. Instead, Karel’s character was far more human, and I appreciated the complexity he was given. The way he became twisted and obsessive after Sasya left was an interesting and, at times, unsettling portrayal of love, but it was also a reminder that even the most intense emotions are rooted in something deeper—insecurities, fears, and the raw desire to hold on to something meaningful.

Overall, this story is emotionally resonant, beautifully drawn, and offers an honest look at the imperfections of love, relationships, and personal growth. I’m already hoping the author decides to revisit these characters in future chapters or side stories, because they’ve left a lasting impression.
