I don't mind it as much, cuz in these "worlds" it's historical and they are worlds of martial arts, so fighting kinda makes sense. Is it the correct way to go about it? Absolutely not, and that's why it never succeeds. Plot wise it's just some shitty drama, but I think meh, cuz I could see it realistically happening in this setting.
What is it with people in those stories who hear someone has a fiance who they are happy with and then they wanna try and use violence to prove how they are better then the person who make her happy.
