I think she’s more of a surrogate… he seemed to always know he was gay so it wouldn’t make sense for him to sleep with a woman
I don't believe she's a surrogate, because why would she said "He doesn't resemble you at all" "He'll grow up to be... just like his mother" instead of "his father". After all, Surrogates use the father's sperm.
"I'm glad you met the right person" gives me a reason to interpret that she could be a close friend or a relative whom husband left after she conceived the child. amid the misery, she met her wife and got married. or she realises motherhood isn't for her and being with a man isn't what she's always wanted.
She also mentioned having that baby wasn't a mistake, which likely means the kid was unintentionally conceived.
yet, she doesn't think of it as a mistake.
Surrogates… typically use sperm from the people who want the kid… so it makes sense that she’d said it doesn’t resemble him at all considering it’s half of his genes… it really just doesn’t make sense that he’d be with a woman
I think maybe he wanted a kid for whatever reason or maybe she wanted it and just couldn’t care for it or something but I don’t know we’ll just have to see how to pans out
