It didn't feel rushed imo, they were already established as friends and clearly had a past together and had crushes. We were just thrown into their story right before the love happened. It skipped any bullshit and avoided being boring and/or having to resort to misunderstandings. Only complaint would be the lack of prep but they live in BL land where bussies are self-lubricating (aka I'll suspend my disbelief bc it's cute). I got such cuteness aggression tho like AGH they're both so ADORABLE! It's very sweet
