From what I remember in the novel, his name was only 'Isha' when he first met Leah as a child. 'Khan' is later added when he deposed his tyrant father who want to kill him when he was still a baby, it's somewhat of a title signifying his rulership over the Kurkans. Hope this helps...
It really bothers me that rather than just spelling Ishakhan’s name as Ishakhan, they spell it as if it’s two different names… NO. IT’S NOT ISHA KHAN. IT’S ISHAKHAN. Please it’s always bothered me I just have to rant. Hope we get more official translation soon (ofc I’m grateful for the decent fan translation, but damn it really takes me out of the experience a bit )
