Like please, I don't want her to be with him endgame. The guy just isn't nice at all to someone who didn't do anything to him. I read some comments that kinda justify his actions by him thinking she's greedy and well paid. Like that's the bare minimum??? If I were to be a stand in for someone and risk my LIFE, as a commoner I should be well paid, it's only fair. Also, is he stupid or what? The premice of the story is him wanting to overturn this supposedly evil family. So why is he putting any crédit to the family's word that they are paying that commoner real well? Especially when other commoners have turned to banditry and escape in the Mountain because of heavy taxation and unfair practices? There are so many holes in the story Helena is spinning and he isn't seeing shit. She bulles the peotagonist first couple chapters, is straight up mean to her IN FRONT OF HIM and he doesn't care At this point, hiz whole behaviour is just abusive.
