In the beginning that was the reason of them being together but as time went by it became not the reason...which is why when the uncle came jin said he was searching for the same feelings with his uncle but could not find them anymore...hence is anger and frustration and abuse to cang who he had fallen for and jin could not admit it cause cang was just not refined to his taste according to him....

Jin really abused cang a lot like really a lot...
- found his uncle slept with uncle all day long for weeks and ignored cang who was stuck in the palace and questioning his reason for staying and the days were coming close with no antidote
- cang is heartbroken humiliated and raped by jin to prove a point to his uncle and then sees Jin ignore him and watches them have sex in front of him as he laid bleeding and trying to gather his clothes..
- cang feeling dejected and discovering that he is actually inlove with jin decide to leave the place and regain back his old self a confident and proud king of the forest with his brothers..he decides to goes where jins sleepin with his uncle to ask for an antidote so he can leave
- unfortunate jin is not there and he meets up with the uncle who tell him that he is being held agaist at his own will ( also the uncle is jin wife's father) cang looked around and was even more pained to realise that they had sex all the time and also jin loved his uncle and not him..the uncle offers to give him an antidote if he provided him with poison..
- cang refused at first but agreed to free himself..he gave the uncle a vitamin pill cause he dared not to kill the man Jin loved in fear of jins rage..he got his antidote and left the palace...as he was walking toward the gates he could hear palace guards and horses riding toward him in full speed ..he tried to run but Jin asked them to close the gate out of the city and jumped of cang kicking him hard in the stomach and private parts..cang bleed and was unconscious...
- he woke up in the cell chained and in a lot of pain...jin called him a murderer and a whore..the uncle had died of poison ...cang was framed for his murder...jin was really a beast in all this..he stabbed cang raped bad mouthed him calling him a whore and jintold him he would be executed after the trial
- cang was so heart broken and feeling dirty and disgusted with himself that he started to peirce though his chest with his nail to commit suicide..he was stopped by jins wife who helped him escape and told him it was her who gave her father the poison
- cang manage to survive but was on crutches woundedon the body (from the stabbing done by jin and also his own nails which were healing) and in pain at night his lower half where Jin had stabbed him and was now reunited with his brothers who even tried to get him a prostitute but cang was in no condition to do it ..the pain and also his love for jin..
- then one day by the lake cang was deeping hus feet in the water and then jin appears again in his life..jin asked cang to come back explaining why he had treated cang that way...

- as cang is sitting alone by the side if the river while his brother's were are messing around ..he can't help but look at his scars by his chest and play back in his mind the bad things that had happened with jin..how Jin had come into his life and messed everything up..how he had continued to make love to him and wouldn't allow him to touch anyone else and yet Jin could sleep with who ever he wanted..how cang had fallen in love with him and yet he was treated so cheap like a whore and how the only person he got along with in the palace jins wife(cousin) and her father had used him as an escape goat to save themselves..how he couldn't tell his brothers when they asked him what had happened to him when they saw him a month ago also about the bad things had happened to him cause of the shame that he had fallen in love with a man like jin and how he allowed him to mess with him and dominate him sexually..
-it had been a few months since he had been in the palace and seen emperor Jin...he also was very afraid that jin was searching (for him and his brothers to kill them all so he had gone deep in the forest to hide with them) as punishment for killing his beloved uncle whom he loved...
-deep in thought a shadow near him appeared ..he looked up to see Jin standing there looking at him with..he quickly got up and picked his sword ready to fight and shouted to his brothers to run as far as they can..even though he knew he was no match for jins fighting skills but he only wanted to buy time for his brothers to escape..
- they fought for a while. Jin wins and grabs cang hand hard that he dislocated it and pushed him to the ground..jin then tries to have sex with can by rubbing his :) but cang was not getting erect (due to being stabbed in his prostate in prison by jin cang had an erectile dysfunction) jin looked up and asked cang what was wrong and cang replied that he was no longer a man so jin can just let him go and that jin had won because this is worse than death..so he sould just kil him and stop toying with him...
-Jin continues with his hand and no response and the he take him in his mouth and OMG(still by th river but no-one but the two are there) cang has an erection and and says only because it's you..so they had sex and then jin asked him to go back...
-cang thought Jin was there to kill him and his brothers..but only to here that jin found out the truth about who killed his uncle and even sent his wife to be a nun as punishment..jin tell cang that he treated him cruel because he could not understand why he had fallen in love with cang(considering that cang had no merits and was just a king of bandits and unrefined etc)
- cang can see that this time jin was a gentle with him as he spoke but still refused to go back cause loving Jin an emperor will be hard..jin spoke openly to cang for the first time and poured his feelings..then Jon then blew a horn(I think) and imperial army came from the bushes with cang brothers who had been captured as they fled. Who were also shocked to see their leaders naked under jin .jin used then to force cang to go back so they all went to the palace...
IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN THIS IS THE END OF THE FIRST PART OF THE BOOK..THE SECOND DEALS WITH THEM LIVING NOT TOGETHER CAUSE CANG IS GIVEN A LUXURIES HOME BUT SEPARATED FROM HIS BROTHERS WHO ARE BEING KEEP AWAY FROM HIM BUT NEAR TO KEEP HIM THERE..THE BROTHER ARE GIVEN TO A HIGH OFFICIALS WHO IS TO SUPERVISE AND GIVE THEM WORK..JIN SPENDS MOST OF HIS TIME AND NIGHTS AT CANGS PLACE..JIN STILL SLEEPS WITH THE ROYAL CONCUBINS AND HAS KIDS WITH THEM BUT ALWAYS GOES BACK TO CANG..THEN SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS AND THEY IS A FIGHT(CAUSE CANG DISCOVERED THAT HIS BRITHERS WERE BEING MISS TREATED BY THUS OFFICIAL)CANG ACCUSES JIN OF KNOWING THAT HIS BROTHRES WERE BEING MISS TREATED HE AND JIN FIGHT AND CANG HURTS JIN ON THE HEAD WITH A VASE AND JIN BLEEDS AND CANG IS SENT TO A COLD CASTLE (WHERE ROYAL ARE SENT AS PUNISHMENT FOR CRIME)THEN JIN FAKES CANGS EXECUTION BY GETTING A LOOK ALIKE TO BE KILLED AND SEND CANG AND HIS BROTHERS AWAY..JIN GOES INSANE AND MOODY WITHOUT CANG..

- JIN set off to see cang and news of the emperor visits heard by cang ..he though Jon was not there for him...
-There was a party that nite and cang and his brothers we invited and placed in the VIP place upstairs..
-the owner of that party sent someone to inform the officials

When there were sitting they heard loads talks downstairs and a lot of people come up the stairs
- there in front of cang stood JIN.
- JIN asked cang to come back with him cause he misses him and even outside in the street all royal guards were on their knees pleading hin to come back but cang refused
- MY WORDS CAN'T DESCRIBE HOW BEAUTIFUL THUS SCENE WAS..IN THE BOOK THE WORDS JIN USED WERE MAGIC..
-Cang refuses even cuts his hair off with a knife and it fell at jins feet (men had to grow their hair as tradition) and told JIN he could have any men jin desired why chance after him (cang) whose heart is no longer there.. many thought that cang would be killed for refusing and going against an emperor but to everyone's shock JIN then went on his knees..
- he grabbed on to CANGS feet and told everyone to get out...
- JIN begged cang telling how much he misses him and can felt the wet tears from union his clothes..this shocked cang of his jin had showed him that weak side
- cang then holding that even if he wanted to he could no longer because of the hair..jin keep begging and they hugged each other and cang fainted
-jin picked him up and carried him to the carriage there everyone WAS in shocked as near cang had refusedbut now this unconscious was being kidnapped by the emperor
- jin told the brothers to come for they were all going back to the palace that nite...
THEN NEXT IS THE LIFE ABOUT CANG WITH JIN AND JIN STILL SLEEPING EITH WOMEN AND HAVING KIDS AND CANG AGAIN SEPERATED FRON HIS BROTHERS AND NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH ANYONE ETC

SO THIS PART OF THE STORY NEARLY EVERTHING IS IMPORTANT CAUSE IT TELLS JIN FEELINGS AND CANGS STRUGGLES...IT CAN'T JUST BE SUMMARISED ... I WILL TRY TELL WHAT I REMEMBER SO EMBRACE YOURSELVES AND BE PATIENT I WILL TRY WRITE ALL I CAN
-So about 5 years have passed and cang is now living in a luxurious home in the lmperial citys inner part like an hours of walking from the imperial palace.it is very hot as summer has begun and normally a trip to inspect the north is coming around the corner...jin being jin and an emperor decide to push the date earlier to travel to the north as it is very hot and in the north they are knows for their cool springs ..so he puts aside all other work in front and picks up the form for the inspection and stamps to approve them to go...
-jin notices that everyone at the palace is starting to get ready and he feels excited as he pictures himself and cang having sx in the cool springs he quickly get into his carriage and tell them to go to the marquis place (A title given to cang in order to keep him close to Jin and give him access to the palace etc) as jins carriage enters cangs home he notices the staff packing ready for the trip...he smiles drops of and rushes inside to find cangs personal servant also packing ...
-he asked him where cang was and was told he is in the study receiving some visitors...jin frowned as he thought it was cangs brothers who jin had allocated so far away that cang first used to visit every few months but as time went is was turning to once a year.in the beginning cang had refused for them to be located do far but he then agreed when his brothers wished to he located there..already one of the brothers had visited and then another ...this made jin worry about the contact thinking something complicated was about to happen
-(Fear of the last fight cause of his brothers being mistreated by one of the officials and leading to cang fighting with the official and jin having to interfere and jing bitting cangs tongue and forcefully had sex with him to make him obey and cang attacking jin with vase as soon as he woke up in rage after fainting from pain ...which lead to cang being put in prison for attempted murder on the emperor and then jin facking his death and sentin him away)(THIS WAS THE INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED LEADING JIN TO GO LOOK FOR CANG AND BRINGING HIM BACK...IN OTHER WORDS JIN DOES NOT LIKE CANG TO BE WITH THE BROTHERS CAUSE HE THINKS THEY CAUSE TROUBLE AND PROBLEMS IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP BTWN HIM AND CANG)
BACK TO THE STORY
-Cause jin was a little Irritated he just entered the study to find two man with cang..the man jumped but cang being accustomed to jins behaviour and after all in the last years he had matured more so he quickly greated Jin official "your majesty"which made jin relax for he knew due to that it was not one of cangs brothers...cang in public addressed jin in this respective way (making people pretend they didn't knows their) ..even though people knew about their relationship no one dared say anything bad to cang with fear of being demoted or transferred far away..others in the past 5 years had critised cang for getting the emperor's favour and jin had punished them as now he was protective over cang so they had been no conflict btwn them and they were living together in peace ...
- cang introduced them to jin as merchants and had been asked by one of cangs brothers to bring him a letter..jin had been waiting for them to leave so he could engage in s.x with cang..the merchants could see the displeased emperor so they quickly left as they left they saw jins face relax (as you know most people knew how jin had begged cang and kidnapped him when he had fainted)
-as soon as the visitors had gone jin quick jumped on cang..cang asked him to wait so he could read the letter but Jin just begun and they did it there on the table..cang in ecstasy nearly tore the letter in his hand ...after that act jin then says tells cang that that the new girl who had just arrived is now pregnat with his baby..cang was speechless as to why jin choice to tell him at this moment..he knew that Jin's love for him had never changed but Jin was never a faithful lover..woman would be given to him and he would seep with them all but would not spend the whole night or sleep with them twice.the royal concubine were only allowed one pregnancy and jin was now a father of 5 but none of the women were crowned empress thus the seat remained empty.,
-"tell me not to sleep with woman..say you don't want to see my kids being born"is what jin said to cang wanting to see him jealous..cang opened and closed his mouth wanting to say something but stopped himself..he knew that if he wanted to be with Jin he had to accept that Jin was an emperor and has duties to fofill..cang about 3 years ago had thought jin would be loyal to him and not touch another but reality truck when the second child was born..
-Cang knew that in history male lovers other die young or their lovers dies first..it is said that when the male lover reaches 30 he looses the favour of the emperor and is left behind or replaced with a younger..cang didn't know what would become of their relationship with jin cause he could imagine Jin being Jon loving an old man .. SO even though he was jealous he didn't want to say anything that would cause them to fight and him being thrown away..he was willing to sacrifice and compromise do he said nothing just to keep jin longer..
-jin keep insisting for him to say something because he disliked to see cang accepting humiliation and enduring but cang just keep quite..cang had wanted a number of times to fight but he was afraid that Jin would just break up with him.."Congradulation"he said calmly this angered Jin so jin got up and started to dress up..cang also got up and dressed up bitting his lips his lips not to sure emotions..cang always struggles on how to deal with Jin and is afraid that if this conversations carry on this might lead to a break up ..
-to hid his pain and misery he picked up the folded letter ..Cang then opened the letter and gave out a cry..which stopped jin who was leaving without saying any thing...the letter said big brother was seriously sick and cang needed to come quickly to see him before its too late..jin then said but the visit to the north is tomorrow..cang knew Jin wanted him to go with him to the north and also that they was a problem in their relationship if he doesn't go..but he knew he could see jin after he comes back but according to the letter his brother was dying..jin looked at him and said
"you decide come with me to the north or go alone to see your brother..if you can't make it assume that I want to wait for you but I can't be held back to wait for you" with out waiting for cang to reply Jin left...
THE NEXT DAY LINES AND LINES OF CARRIAGES STARTED THE JOURNEY TO THE NORTH BUT THE MARQUIS WASN'T THERE..HIS MAJESTY THE EMPEROR JIN'S FACE LOOKED LIKE HE WAS AT A FUNERAL..
SO CANG ROD SOUTH TO SEE HIS BROTHERS..

-cang arrived to find his brothers all together having fun and the one who was said to be sick was well and laughing..
Cang asked the brothers what was going..they told him that if they did not write like that then he would not have come since he bewitched by jin and has forgotten them...also that cang has not been there for a long time and only stays in his masquis house which is heavily guarded and secured that they do have the courage to visit..all of them nodded
-a woman married to one of his brothres walked in carrying a baby and was introduced to cang..cang took the baby into his arms..cang he took off his bracelet (gold with precious stones used to belong to a past dynasty empress given to him by jin) ..and put it on the baby's foot..he said it had little value and the baby to accept the gift..one of the brothers said cang was the emperor's man so they was nothing on his body that was valueless..
-the brother said how his child was cute but then became aware of cang..he then asked if cang didn't want to have a kids making everyone tense..another brother looked at cang and noticed he was embarrassed and didn't know how to react..
-cang did not answer and the brother carried on to say that he is not lecturing cang but cang should think about his future( kids ,wife reputation etc).he then asked if cang plan to carry on like this and yet jin has a imperial harem with women and children and that when cang is old he will be thrown away by jin with nothing(wife children and reputation etc)
-all the brothers agreed with the other brother about how they are all worried and that they had lied about the sickness to talk to cang about this...cang smilled bitterly and said it was their on anxiousness..the brother continued to say why can't they be anxious on cangs behalf and that they still can help cang ..
-the brother patted cangs chest to ensure him ( they have his back

I have mixed feelings. yes there's a happy ending but the one Jin really likes is not Cang who is nothing else than a replacement for his uncle.
