i think atsumu said that to kageyama cause so far at that time kageyama style is match up his toss to spiker, not try to maximize spiker ability(like oikawa san). that's good if we count it make spiker easy, but it also not good enough to maximize the spiker ability cuse it's like make spiker not challenged to improve their ability.

but in this game atsumu see kageyama give tsukishima high toss, that make tsukishima must pull effort in spike it.

Yes, you're right. Atsumu knows kageyama is prodigy. But kageyama always ask the spiker how's his toss. So atsumu think kageyama just trying to be nice to the others and not want giving his best toss, even when kageyama gives a toss his face shows like he's not willing, so he's called that by atsumu.

When atsumu sees that, he's realize that kageyama changed since back from youth camp
