Did you guys miss the part where Andrew needed some guidance from Luke on how to build something? He is obviously not proficient in DIY. Then that makes it seem fairly obvious that it was an accident. Malcolm thinking something is weird doesn’t mean it actually is. I’m choosing to believe Andrew is at most a yellow flag. Which, considering his abusive father and trauma from a creepy stalker, would make sense.
