Try reading josei. It's straight but it usually has mature themes. Some have better writing than others so do keep an eye on the good ones. Some seinen mangas are written in a female's perspective and are even better than some shoujo stories Shoujo are usually catered to preteens or young teenagers. You can still enjoy them when you're older but taste can change over time.

im not in my right mind.. after reading yaoi.. i found this story as uninteresting... what should i do? something has changed in me. before, i would use all of my money just to buy straight romance manga.. but now, i feel nothing when i read this. i think i have to watch ao haru ride again.
