I'm so tired of this trope

The trope of introducing a recipe like coffee or a korean dish into this world and then the FL makes bank is suchhhh an overused trope now. It wastes so much time and honestly is just lazy writing. Its like they resort to this rather than come up with an actual plot

Sometimes it's even more lazier, when fantasy europeans thinking miso/spices is the tastiest shit ever, modern coffee and coco beans just growing in the wild without years of selective breeding, mc knowing how modern devices works to recreate them with magic, etc.

I get you... I'd be more interested if they at least went in depth into like... the different processes of cocoa beans for example. Because chocolate especially is extremely diverse in how its made and tastes. Also wild is authors thinking people in the old days ate poorly, when they actually ate better than us and had more intense, natural recipes

That's also unfortunately common... well they had more coarse grains and sugars, but aside from that, but the bread recipes were fire??? Holyshit traditional yeast starters, and stone oven baked bread tastes so good.
