People are disliking your comment, but you’re right all her works are awful and some even have child porn. Same thing with Lee Geumsan (author of statistic beauty, and reverse thinking) all her works are just trauma and rape porn and just simply has a psychological tag some authors just want an excuse to write trash rape porn, and sexual depiction of children.

Yes, you are allowed to have your opinions however its the fact that readers look for certain topics and then get mad that those topics are in the story they looked at. Look at comments, look at tags before going in. Harada's art and stories are to make you feel something, complaining about her making dark content while she's a dark content creator. There's content warnings for a reason.

Sure there are a lot of things on her works, that are uncomfortable, but you cannot deny that she is fundamentally a good writer

So for me it's just a person who has the ability to to do (and do well let's recognize it) what they want and use that power to leave a mark. A bit like Feeding something and the others, you read it once out of morbid curiosity and then you don't touch it again haha

We are simply complaining how all her works are poorly written and a lot of the dark content in it is just for shock value. I have read stories that have dark content like killing stalking, which is actually well written and a good psychological thriller. Harada It’s just a shitty writer. She can’t write a good suspenseful psychological manga for the life of her and a lot of her work lacks death.

i dont mind reading about dark or triggering topics, but harada doesnt handle it well imo
occasionally harada cooks but even then she always manages to find a way to sneak rape into it. what pmo even more is that harada has proven they can write sweet relationships and still make them entertaining, they just CHOOSE not to. yoru to asa no uta would be great if it wasnt for that fuckass first volume with the yakuza. the sequels in my top 10 fav bl manga, but why does that bitchass yakuza still have to show up??? pls start a court case or smth put his ass in jail same with happy shitty life, whenever reo appears my day gets 100x worse. and the rapists never get any consequences either ts so infuriating. its obvious that their works have a lot of heart put behind them but its also obvious that 50% of their heart is dedicated to rape porn...

i read RESTART and i kinda liked it but the rest u linked w/o the rape were lowk plain w not much depth maybe bc they were short,, but even then i dont see a long harada manga that doesnt include shock factor to make up for the bad writing..

their "complex writing" is mostly just characters getting raped so yeah.... the only ones i remember with some sorta deeper meaning were restart and one of the gintama djs i sent that dealt with internalized homophobia
Like there's only two harada stories I think are decent, One Room Angel and Happy Shitty Life, and even then, she can't fucking help herself because she's so into torture and shota she's gotta slip it in
i seriously dont understand the hype, almost all her work is revenge porn disguised as a 'complex' or 'realistic' plotline cuz no she literally cant write a good psychological manga without adding rape or abuse to it as a shock factor, like do u think thats all there is to add to make it a complex manga. i wont deny that SOME of her characters in her 'psychological' mangas have depth but otherwise the plot is always trash.
