I hope jjk experienced that little fraction of fear for dan possibly being in danger to the fullest extent. this was a small taste of the bs hes put dan through, as much as i loathe him and dont think hes capable of being redeemed, he still has emotions. obv his backstory fcked him up enough to turn out like the person he is but it doesnt give him am excuse to force dan's submission and turn him to a sex doll at his beck and call. last chapter he was just talkin about "no matter how much he crumbles" hes keepin dan under his control. sure hes exceedingly possessive and obsessive, but that doesnt allow him the liberties he thinks hes so entitled to take. i would love for dan to show a little more backbone like he did before though ik hes not in a good space emotionally, mentally, and physically. I hate that jjk is so suppressed in his emotions that this is the most expressive we've ever seen him be in general and esp towards dan and only when he thought he was on the verge of death. and then hugs him... idk. i have deeply mixed feelings about this story as a whole.
