Honestly, this series is great all around, and I do like the humor– but I feel like the comedy here is the biggest hurdle for me to really *love* this. It's really well executed, but... damn, I just really wish this series had a more serious tone!! There are plenty of more "somber" and serious moments, and every single story beat here is like, Drama 101; but this is very obviously more comedy-centered and more light-hearted. Sure, that may change in the future, and I'd love it if it did, but I feel like this series would really benefit from being drama or action-focused from the start. Again, it's not that I dislike the sense of humor or comedy in general, but I just *really* wish we could be getting all of the emotional nitty-gritty from these characters from the get-go.
Anyway, I'll happily wait for whatever else they throw at us. I love Ceres too much to abandon him midway.
