idk but from what i read, they didnt know any ways to get the cure except doing it. look, the ml was shocked when he got the cure even tho fl and him weren't doing anything. also, ml's father said it's ok for him to have the witch mistress when married. why mistress when fl can be like blood or bodily liquid donor? bc from what they currently know, the only cure is to do it. and fl, who knows the whole story, is the only person who knew that they dont necessarily have to do r19 and that's how she escaped getting banged which confused the ml and his men. at least that's how i understood it. yea im assuming, but it's so obvious to ignore— that what they onky know to get the cure is to bang— bc fl escaoed r19 bc of it

i rmbr fl is 20, fl sis is 22, and i think it said somewhere that ml is yrs older than fl. im not sure abt the number bc i forgot but i remember ml being older than both sisters so maybe 24+??
