I think the only revenge he can take on himself is by ending his own life. That way, the governor will suffer the pain of losing someone he believes he doesn’t love. It’s kind of bittersweet. I don’t know how this story can redeem itself… unless he falls in love with his assaulter. Otherwise, they’ll just keep tormenting each other until one of them finally raises the white flag to surrender.
