I've been so bored with those average yaoi plot nowadays ykyk, so that's why I'm sticking around. If you ask the "me from 3 years ago" I would've probably drop this bl too since I was still reading normal plot bl but nowadays I can tolerate this "all over the place" plot better than I did before
It just takes a lot to read the next chapter because I can't read the next panel without getting angry and running around the house and reading the next one again just to rinse and repeat the whole running around the house thing again ╮(￣▽￣)╭
LOL I feel that so much and I'm glad you agree! There's a lotta moments where I just gotta pause and take in whatever the hell the mc just said or did, but again, I think that's interesting! Cuz the mc is literally delusional and narcissistic, he isn't just some hopelessly in love guy that happened to blurt something embarrassing out. His whole personality is being annoying and it's a different kinda character that I like a lot. Really I think the only direction that would turn me off from the story is if Charcoal really SUDDENLY started liking the mc for no reason, but I'm praying that development is as natural as it can be
I feel the exact same way. I find morally grey/assholes/generally bad people really fun to read about and understand. It's really entertaining. If a story is too romantic I lowkey get turned off from it lol
Seriously lol. I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers and this has honestly been perfect so far. Probably the most true story I've seen to that trope with how the characters actually have a reason to hate each other, too

Yeah, I know Charcoal not being the bottom has been a big part of what's driving people away. I think it'd be nice to see him as the bottom too but it's never a must when I'm reading something lol. That's where it's just personal preference tho, I can understand that.

I'm surprised so many people hate this! I feel like this bl has been pretty funny for the most part. I've never seen an mc as delusional as this one, Charcoal's responding to that delusion like a (mostly) normal person, and he's also got his own personal stuff going on at the same time. Not only that but Charcoal's into a guy that's definitely using him. It shows us why he's so hostile to the mc (among other reasons) and provides some drama that I think is pretty interesting. Neither of the characters are GOOD people necessarily, but I think they're entertaining! It's a guy who embodies selfishness and a guy who's a lot more realistic, cool duo for a story imo.
Ig people are looking for a more romantic manhwa tho lol. Personally I love how it's been going, not a lot of stories are like it. I'm interested to see how the mc and Charcoal get together considering the situations we've seen them in, might just be a huge slow burn. Just wanted to ramble, I'd like to hear other people's opinions lol
