She left to stand on her own. The fact that her husband tracked her down & settled where she's at is all the more proof he doesn't begin to understand her. And, that is the core problem of their entire marriage. He completely ignored & disregarded her. To respect her resolve to become a police officer, he should have approached carefully & thoughtfully. Try to understand her & what he did wrong & what he needs to do to get her forgiveness. He's basically just a stalker at this point.
