I kind of get where the author is going, hear me out. The thing is that now a days BDSM is being portrayed more and more on mangas, especially BL, so I think that the author wanted to give BDSM fanservise, and these chapters came out. Was it done right? No, why? Because in BDSM or in any kind of kinky play, you have to establish parameters; as long as your partner and YOU want to explore things that way it's fine, but when it's not, you can feel that your boundaries have been pushed out of your comfort zone in sex and that shouldn't happen.
If Ash had talked or/and done kinky or BDSM sex before, then these chapters would have been easier to swallow for the ones that fill uncomfortable right now. But Lyle's boundaries have been pushed before in Ash's alpha cycle (I forgot the word, my lord), and then they where pushed aside with a "well that's the way I am, I am sorry, I love you", and the whole thing repeated here. There was no talk of "I am sorry I pushed you into this, especially for a special moment, are you ok?", and that just made things worse for some readers.
Look, talk with your partner about kinky stuff and what they are fine with. Don't push them into selecting stuff and then use them as a way to punish, or to force them to talk to you... unless it has been established beforehand. Unless you have established what you are both comfortable with, don't just go into it blind.
I understand he wants to make him talk, but miscommunication has not advanced into communication. It just went to "I will force it out of you with uncomfortable sex."
P.S. I don't blame characters I blame authors who dont write things right. Jesus these authors.
