It’s hard to fully summarize lol. Let’s do 4 parts. I. Lead1 loses brother/money due to his ex setting them up. Mom dies around this time. Lead1 was a delinquent and decided to his life was atonement. He decided he had no right to happiness and hid emotions. Around this time he meets Lead #2, both sad. Recall Lead #2 having lost his mother at this time, Lead#1 losing his before that but living only as atonement. They slept together, went on) Part II. 5 yrs past, Lead #1 wants to get revenge and decides on acting at the same company as his ex, an upcoming star with a powerful sponsor. Lead wants the ceo to be his sponsor, so does his ex. Lead #2 ends up being that powerful ceo, meets him but has no idea he’s the ceo because Lead #2 doesn’t introduce himself as such. He does this on purpose and plays along dumb. Ends up sponsoring him, Lead #1 is oblivious that he snagged the big gun . Part III. Lead #1 begins to soften up for the ceo, which he hates and doesn’t admit. Lead #2 finds out the guy he slept with 5years prior is Lead #1, he’s been looking for him. He’s happy af. Eventually Lead #1 begins to realize he’s changing for the better which still conflicts him due to his past and wanting revenge. But lead #2 is willing to help him with revenge and emotionally as well. At last they embrace everything and move forward with getting revenge. Both wants revenge on different people, lead #2 wants to end the sponsor of the ex. Lead #1 wants to end the ex. Part 4: (lead #1 gets hurt) Our ceo/lead #2 gets big brain revenge on everyone in one day. Lead #1 starts to understand revenge may not be satisfying and comes to some type of peace, the ex is now furious after what the ceo did… He demands to meet lead’s sponsor (we know is the ceo/lead#2 whom the ex and everyone else knows is the top gun) lead #1 tries sparing him but the ex is an idiot. Anddd he finally realizes at the end that the ceo/lead #2 is the secret sponsor, ex is blacklisted and in debt due to flaunting money he didn’t have. His life is screwed basically, becomes a p*rn star and is disgraced. END- revenge is paid back to everyone who deserves it, both leads finally can acknowledge what they feel, esp since both struggle with feelings. Both leads get to finally be happy and move on. Lead #1 finally sees joy in living. This is summarized but the story is so complex. The novel is gold, more detailed.
