I almost feel like the author completely changed their personalities in the side stories. At least on the main he had some sort of backbone.
I think it's because soon we will get to see them get In bdsm it's not something that anyone like Lyle would be able to take right away like as if it was nothing so the author is slowly carefully bringing it up into the story and eventually Lyle shouldn't Shy away from saying dirty inappropriate things
There gotta be a way to introduce it so it isn't dubcon though Ik Ash said that he is gonna get more freaky, but bdsm or dom/sub relationships in general always need explicit consent and willingness from both partners (well sex overall needs that too anyway). While Lyle in essence indicated that he's fine with it, a yes then doesn't mean a yes now. What Ash did was just throw a temper tantrum without considering or trusting Lyle
Ugh it feels like Lyle is still so insecure in this relationship and is scared to do or say anything.
