Idk man I hate both they are basically the same thing. Jinx at least tries something but it just really fails at it by having writing that keeps spinning around in circles that is plagued with really weird pacing issues and way too much unnecessary smut in points of the story where not having smut would be way better. It just feels like it's trying to do something new but it's just in the end repeating the same cliches...
And the story has yet to finish so hey who knows there might be something interesting but if we are talking about realistic here, then it takes way more than grovelling for a narcissist to change lol

My main theory is actually much rather that because of Jinx' slow pacing in contrast to the other BLs that are fast paced and full of drama to the point you cannot breathe, people just realized this stuff way more and maybe even the realization how over-saturated the BL genre has become with these stories.
Oh and that there is already a huge hate bandwagon against it which attracts even more people to hate on it especially in this case because goddamn some of the comments on here are hilarious when a new chap drops
