yes!!! and im not saying ecklis’ state rn is all penelope’s fault but she def played some part of it. they were both toxic to each other that’s why it didn’t work out. whereas her interactions with the crown prince were more genuine and at the very least they were standing on equal footing. ecklis was like a dog.
honestly characters like ecklis are my favorite don't throw rocks at me. so complex and definitely not the man you want to be with
