ash has been giving me the ick recently with his attitude/personality in the side stories...if someone is crying & actively telling you to stop, then you stop. not continue to get what you want out of them. that's a way of manipulating someone into your control so they tell you everything. so yes, ash DID ruin it. if none of this would've happened, then lyle wouldve been able to successfully propose to ash (because we already know ash was thinking about it but didn't know how lyle felt). i miss the old ash, straight from the go ash
and its crazy because he dont even abide by his own rules! i still cant believe he took no accountability for hiding his relationship with hazel like that but got mad that lyle was insecure about it
i think this manhwa was based off the novel right? the only explanation for ash's change in attitude/personality from the manhwa author not the original novel author. bc i think the original novel didn't include side stories like this, and his actions don't make sense for his character, but idk
