It's possible he was like the late director and was already taken over by the immortal monster for many years by then so him being loving to his son could just be a ploy to seem normal by humans. Even if The Immortal took over the original human's body or had been there the entire time, all of that went out the window in the next chapter anyway
Don't redeem a villain with sad backstory now coz what does his action mean then? The orig father is a loving father and husband then after the possession his wife killed her self, u can't be seriously doing this plesssssss
